Mava is a support inbox for crypto and community teams, and a good one. It pulls tickets from Discord, Telegram, Slack, email and web chat into one place and puts an AI agent in front of them, trained on your docs. It is not a moderation tool, and that is the line that decides whether it is the right buy.
We build an AI moderation platform for Telegram and Discord that also answers member questions, so Mava overlaps with part of what we do. Same rules as our Wick bot review: honest strengths, named gaps. Features and prices below are from Mava’s own site on October 31, 2026.
What is Mava?
Mava started as a Discord and Telegram ticket bot and grew into an omnichannel support platform. The idea is simple: members open a private ticket instead of asking in public, the AI answers what it can, and a human picks up the rest in a shared inbox. Its main pieces:
Shared inbox. Tickets from every channel land in one queue with statuses, custom views and automations, so a small team can split the work.
AI support agent. Trained on your docs and knowledge base, it answers in private tickets and in public channels, and hands over to a human when it cannot help.
Channels. Discord, Telegram, Slack, email and an embeddable web chat, available on every plan including Free.
Analytics. Response times, AI resolution rate, ticket volume and satisfaction scores.
API and webhooks. On the Scale plan and above, for teams that want tickets flowing into their own tools.
Mava’s homepage lists 3.5 million private tickets handled, more than 3,000 support teams and a 60 percent ticket reduction with AI. Those are the vendor’s own numbers, but they fit the team it is built for: crypto projects with real users asking real account questions.
Mava pricing in 2026
Mava prices per workspace and meters AI usage in support requests a month. Annual billing takes about 15 percent off.
Free: 0 dollars. 1 seat, 30 support requests a month, 2 AI training sources.
Founder: 39 dollars a month, 33 on annual. 3 seats, 100 requests, custom web chat branding, 30 days of analytics.
Growth: 99 dollars a month, 83 on annual. Unlimited seats, 500 requests, Discord reply training, scripted AI replies, 90 days of analytics.
Scale: 199 dollars a month, 166 on annual. 2,000 requests, a multilingual AI bot, API, webhooks and a custom email domain.
Enterprise: 599 dollars a month, 499 on annual. 10,000 requests, unlimited training sources, rule and time based automations, no Mava branding.
Every paid plan comes with a 14-day trial and no card. Count your current ticket volume before you pick a tier, because the request cap, not the seat count, is what pushes teams up a plan.
How long does Mava take to set up?
Mava says a team can be live in under 20 minutes: connect the channels, point the AI at your docs, test questions in the dashboard and switch it on. The real work is the knowledge base. The AI can only answer what your docs cover, so the first weeks are mostly about reading the conversations it hands over and writing the missing answers.
Where Mava stops
Mava answers the people who ask for help. Scammers do not ask. The fake admin who DMs your members, the account that drops a drainer link in general chat at 3am, the wave of bots that joins before a token launch: none of it arrives as a ticket. Mava’s site lists no moderation features, so there is no spam filter, no scam detection, no raid protection and no impersonation check.
That is not a flaw in what Mava sets out to do. It is a support tool. But a community that runs Mava still needs a moderation layer, whether that is Rose on Telegram, Dyno or Wick on Discord, or a behavior-based platform. Our security report measured an 85.7 percent miss rate for keyword filters on real scams, and that is a gap a support inbox never sees.
Mava vs collony.ai
The overlap is the AI that answers members. Both train on your docs and both answer in public channels. The difference is everything around it. Mava is built around tickets and a human support team. collony.ai is built around protecting the chat itself: it reads every message for scam behavior, removes scams in under 3 seconds and answers questions as part of the same bot. Its Grow plan, at 99 dollars a month, includes both.
Pick Mava if most of your load is private account issues, refunds, KYC questions or bug reports that need a person and a paper trail. Pick collony.ai if the load is the public chat: scams, spam, raids and the same ten questions every day. Larger teams often run both. The full side by side is on our Mava alternative page.
Verdict
Mava is one of the best support inboxes built for Discord and Telegram communities, with a fair free tier and AI included on every plan. Buy it for support. Do not buy it expecting moderation, because it has none, and plan a separate layer for scams and spam from day one.
Frequently asked questions
Is Mava free?
Yes, Mava has a free plan with 1 seat, 30 support requests a month and every channel. Paid plans start at 39 dollars a month for Founder, and each comes with a 14-day trial and no card, per Mava’s pricing page in October 2026.
How much does Mava cost?
Founder is 39 dollars a month, Growth 99, Scale 199 and Enterprise 599, or 33, 83, 166 and 499 a month on annual billing. Plans are metered by support requests: 100, 500, 2,000 and 10,000 a month.
What is Mava used for?
Customer support for community-driven companies. Mava turns questions from Discord, Telegram, Slack, email and web chat into tickets in one shared inbox, and an AI agent trained on your docs answers what it can before handing over to your team.
Does Mava moderate Discord or Telegram?
No. Mava’s site lists no moderation features, so it does not filter spam, detect scams, stop raids or flag impersonators. Communities that use Mava for support run a separate moderation bot or platform alongside it.
Mava or collony.ai?
Mava for ticket-based support with a human team, collony.ai for protecting the public chat from scams and spam while answering member questions. If you need both, they work side by side.
