Why reach beats subscribers
Crypto app channels sit at the top because airdrop campaigns required a subscribe, and those subscribers never came back. Proxy channels are large because people subscribe to fetch a proxy and leave, except in countries that block Telegram, such as Iran, where the Persian proxy channels keep 12 to 14 percent of subscribers reading.
