# Billing

> Plans, pricing, and subscription management for collony.ai.

Each project has its own subscription. Plans are billed monthly or yearly, with a daily message cap that resets at 00:00 UTC.

Yearly plans save \~20% compared to monthly billing.

## Free trial

Every project gets a 7-day free trial - no credit card required. The trial includes 100 messages per day. Once the trial ends, the bot is disabled until a paid plan is activated. Your project config, rules, and history are preserved.

  Use the trial period to dial in your rules and knowledge base before going live with a paid plan. The bot needs a few days of real traffic to surface false positives worth fixing.

## Subscribing

Open **Billing** from the sidebar, select a plan, and choose monthly or yearly. Payment is handled via Stripe's secure checkout - collony never stores your card details.

## Daily message cap

The cap counts messages processed by the bot - including moderation checks, chat responses, and sentiment analysis. It resets daily at 00:00 UTC. Today's usage is shown at the top of the Billing page.

When the cap is reached, the bot stops processing new messages until the next reset. Security rules continue to apply at a reduced rate.

## Canceling or changing plans

Cancel or switch plans from the Billing page at any time. On cancellation, the bot is disabled at the end of the current billing period. Your project data remains intact - resubscribe anytime to resume.
